an unpopular topic but...

I had to stage this picture in order to make my point - lol. This is typically what it looks like in the morning when I "show up" to talk to God.  I love herbal tea and a snack never hurts. With that said, the Word of God is my medicine, it is my hope, my peace, my strength, my everything.

I want to take a moment to share something that is not popular. This topic may not get a lot of reads, hearts, likes or responses.  Pain. In this life we cannot escape pain.  In Psalm 55 David was in a crisis that brought on mental anguish.  He was raw with his emotions and very honest. Here is what David said in verses four and five; "My heart pounds in my chest. The terror of death assaults me. Fear and trembling overwhelm me, and I can’t stop shaking." Later in the text David says, "But I will call on God, and the Lord will rescue me." Do you see what just happened? David acknowledged his pain and knew that at the end of the day the Lord was going to rescue him because he trusted in the Lord.

We cannot use scripture to numb the pain. Scripture gives us hope while the pain is being healed! Feel the pain don’t numb it! Admit you have pain and then seek the Lord early in the morning for truth to hold on to. After that, choose to hold on to the truth.  Choose to trust the Lord while you work through the pain. I am only sharing this with you because I have had to walk this out personally.  Seek the Lord early for you daily bread and live!

Shalom Aleichem

After reading this blog I walked away with the teaching on trust and the Hebrew word Hull. David is a man after my own heart, why you ask David no matter what trusted in the Lo. No matter what anguish, shaking, or frustrations I go through I will continue to TRUST in the LORD.
